Construction Safety Week is an opportunity for individuals, organisations, and the construction industry as a whole to come together, celebrate, and reaffirm their commitment to building a safer, stronger industry.
Safety week’s goal is to highlight the importance of ensuring that every person working in the construction industry goes the extra mile to keep their colleagues safe and prevent accidents.
When is Safety Week?
Construction Safety Week 2024 is taking place from Monday 6th May to Friday 10th May. Each day will focus on different topics including themes surrounding; driving personal safety ownership, empowering all workers to voice new safety ideas, embracing every voice, and strengthening safety cultures within the team.
Why we choose to back Construction Safety Week
The construction industry plays a critical role in shaping our communities by building structures that showcase human innovation and advancement. However, this industry also carries inherent risks that can pose serious threats to the lives of those involved in construction projects.
This week, we come together to emphasize the importance of safety in every aspect of construction work. Whether it involves constructing towering skyscrapers or intricate infrastructure projects, safety must always remain a top priority.
As construction firms navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry, it is crucial that everyone involved upholds the highest standards of safety practices, protocols, and regulations. By promoting a culture of safety, together we can create a workplace where every individual returns home safe each day.
Our commitment to building a safer future with PPE & training.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) plays a crucial role in maintaining safety at construction sites. It is mandatory by law to prioritise the protection and well-being of workers. All construction workers should therefore be shielded from hazards, protected from injury, have enhanced visibility on-site and have their overall health protected.
At Enfield Safety we are committed to providing our clients with the best quality safety products and personal protective equipment (PPE) to adhere to these standards. We strongly believe that safety should always come first. Over the years we have extended our product ranges to adapt to the changing industry and introduced various safety training courses to upskill workers.
We stock a range of high-quality safety helmets, including the Skyworker Micropeak Vented Safety Helmet with chin strap, available in a range of colours. These safety helmets are designed to protect the head from injury and remain firmly in place if impacted.
